COCA Notes

We are pleased to announce that applications for the 2026 COCA National Conference Chair are now open. If you’re interested in taking on a challenging role that offers you an exciting opportunity to develop and enhance your skills, we encourage you to apply!

The work will begin soon after the selection is made, as the National Conference Chair will join the COCA Board immediately. Throughout the process, you will receive support from the COCA Board and the Executive Director. The Committee Coordinators and committee members will also assist you in planning the National Conference. It is a significant project but it offers not only an amazing opportunity but also an extremely valuable and rewarding experience.

The board will decide on the location for the 2026 conference, with a preference for sites in the Western Region, but we welcome suggestions from applicants, and you do not need to be located in the host city to apply to be the National Conference Chair.

As part of the application process, candidates will need to confirm permission from their manager to apply and the successful candidate will have to provide a letter from their manager confirming permission to take on this role and the ability fulfill the necessary time commitments.
