Welcome to Laurier

Welcome to Laurier

WELCOME TO THE WATERLOO CAMPUS!

Of Laurier’s 19,000 graduate and undergraduate students, 16,000 are enrolled at our Waterloo campus, which trades on the energy from the thriving, tech-savvy Region of Waterloo. Faculties in Arts, Music, Science, Education, Graduate Studies and the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics are based here. Laurier is a leading force in research among Canadian universities, and many of our research centres and institutes are housed here.

At Wilfrid Laurier University, community is at the core of who we are and what we do. Students feel welcome here and find their place. Everywhere you look, people are inspired to learn, lead and build lifelong relationships, to give their all and to give back.
No matter how you choose to live your Laurier experience, you’re a Golden Hawk, which means you’re part of a tight-knit, supportive community that aims high and works hard. Out of all undergraduate students surveyed across Canada, Laurier student satisfaction is ranked the highest in the Maclean's University Rankings.
